Important Notice: The EAEC Congress will NOT take place in 2013
The European Automotive Congress 2013 organized by VDI and EAEC in co-operation with FISITA, which was scheduled to take place in Dresden in June 2013, will not take place as initially planned. It has become clear over the past few weeks that under the current organizational and economic circumstances, the conference would fail to meet the expected standard and attendance, if it were to go ahead.
Together with FISITA and EAEC, VDI will examine the reasons for this failure and define what conditions have to be put together to attempt the organisation of such an event successfully in the future. We believe that the particular conditions of the European automotive industry provide ample scope for exchanges among engineers on a European level, and will do our best to favour these exchanges appropriately together with our partners within the industry and the European engineering societies.
We will keep you informed on any future development via the usual channels, including the EAEC website.
